Knowledge Alliance has engaged a new government relations consultant for 2012–The Penn Hill Group (http://pennhillgroup.com/).  We are excited about this new relationship, in which Penn Hill will support Knowledge Alliance’s Federal advocacy and strategic communications work and assist with implementation of the this Government Relations Plan.  

Working with and contacting Penn Hill — We are in regular direct contact with the Penn Hill staff on all issues related to our federal policy priorities as established in our annual Government Relations plan. Alliance members may also contact Penn Hill with questions and comments. Here are several guidelines for you:

First point of contact: Our project manager is Danielle Ballard dballard@pennhillgroup.com 202-618-3900. When you have questions, contact her first and she will direct you to one of the principals as appropriate.

Keep Alliance staff in the loop: When making contact with Penn Hill please copy John and Jim on the emails.

Focus on Alliance priorities: Our work  arrangement with Penn Hill is focused on the issues and tactics established in our annual government relations plan.  Your interactions with Penn Hill should be similarly focused on the priorities in the plan relating to appropriations, legislation and implementation.
